Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth McBride, age 87, are scheduled for 1 PM, Tuesday, August 6, 2013 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill with Bro. Daniel Jerkins officiating. Interment will follow in Scotts Hill Methodist Cemetery. Mrs. McBride passed away Sunday in Parsons. She was born October 1, 1925 in Henderson County to the late Lawrence and Biffle White Martin. She was a retired employee of Salant/Salant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Lloyd McBride. Survivors include her brother, Jack (Christine) Martin of Reagan, two sisters, Helen (Fay) Dickson of Lexington and Geraldine (the late J. D.) Blankenship of Memphis, and several nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
