Odell Smothermon, 81, of Rogersville died Saturday, July 27th, 2013 at Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing Facility.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow immediately. Burial will be in Romine Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Thomas, Sam Ramey, Tommy Warren, Thomas Warren, John Moore, Davis Estes and honorary, Glenn Evans.
Mrs. Smothermon was preceded in death by her parents, Larkin and Emma Hendrix; husband, James E. Smothermon; sister, Lettie Region and brothers, Arthur, Jasper and Luther Hendrix. She is survived by her children, James (Carol) Smothermon and Mary (Bobby) Whitman; grandchildren, Darrin Whitman, Tellie (Dale) Romine, Falena Whitman and Kevin Thomas; great-granddaughter, Cerrah Whitman and numerous nieces and nephews.
