Spirit of Freedom – Where’s there a will… There’s a way!

MCFARLAND PARK – It was wet. It wasn’t pretty. There was mud. But the inclement weather wasn’t enough to keep the crowd (small, it is true) away from their holiday celebration.

Rolling storms coming up from The Gulf pummeled The Shoals all Thursday morning, afternoon… and continued through until the big fireworks show that began shortly after 9:00pm.

The Quad-Cities Daily was there (Full disclosure here… we weren’t there ALL DAY AND NIGHT!) taking event photos. And we present them here.
