Barbara Ann Hood, age 80 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away October 22, 2026. She was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Haleyville.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 27, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Sherman Kimbrough and Dewayne Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Ms. Hood is survived by her children, Johnny Hood and Rhonda Wilson (husband, Keven); sisters, Bonnie Riddle (husband, John Wayne) and Marry Kimbrough (husband, Sherman); brothers, James Beck and Billy Beck (wife, Joyce); grandchildren, Ashley Hammack (husband, Josh) and Matthew Wilson (wife, Maranda); and great grandchildren, Lilly Hammack, Silas Hammack and Maggie Wilson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Otho and Era Beck; husband, Wayne Hood; brother, Rayburn Beck; sister, Rachel Bailey.
