Sherrie Dianne Miellmier, age 71, of Ohatchee, Alabama, passed away on October 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Sherrie was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, sister, and friend. Her love for her family and the memories they shared will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Ernie Miellmier; daughters, April (Chris) Martin, Brooke (Devin) Bullock, and Megan (Steven) Barnhart; grandchildren, Jakob Miellmier, Tanner Martin, Sophie Martin, Isabella Miellmier, Emily Martin, and Michael Barnhart; brothers, Dennis Mayne and Steve Mayne; sister, Rhonda Carlson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Faye Mayne; brothers, Terry Mayne and Keith Mayne; and daughter, Janice Miellmier.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Clearview Cancer Institute and SouthernCare New Beacon Hospice for their compassionate care throughout Sherrie’s journey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Venecia’s Foundation in her memory.
