Almon Daniel Gann, 78 of Hamilton, passed away Monday, October 19, 2026 at Brookwood Baptist Hospital. Almon was born on July 1, 1948 in Hamilton to the late Roner Daniel and Fleeta Virine Young Gann. He had worked at Health Tex for over 20 years, played Santa for all and had worked with the Highway Department. He was a long time member of the Echota Cherokee Tribe of Alabama and he loved to farm.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026, 2:00 until service time beginning at 4:00 at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Carter Cemetery.
Survivors include, Wife: Martha Gann, Daughter: Jana (Alex) Brownfield, Grandchildren: Kylee Brownfield, Cara Arnold, Kaitlin Lee Gann, Brother: Rick Gann, Niece and Nephews: Cherye (Tim) Pearce, Jeff Gann and Terry (Lisa) Gann, and a host of Great Nieces, Nephews, Family, Friends and Neighbor Grandchildren.
In addition to his Parents he was preceded in death by, Brother: Billy Austin Gann.
