Billy Strickland 88 of Albertville passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Marshall Manor Nursing
His Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at Albertville First Methodist Church. Rev. Mark Adams will be officiating. He will be laid to rest at Mt. High Cemetery in Albertville. Pallbearers will Michael Crisson, Brad Lands, Rickey Hyde, Jack Quinn, Chris Jenkins, Jimmy Richey. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time at Albertville First Methodist Church.
Mr. Strickland is survived by his children; Billy Wayne Strickland (Donna), Jeffery Marshall (Sherri), Jason Scott Strickland and Amy Michelle Strickland, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife; Mary Helen Strickland, parents; Marvin Strickland and Mary Grey and siblings; Charlie Strickland, Don Machen, Sarah Albright, Dorothy Stanfield and Marie Cork.
He was a member of Albertville First Methodist Church where he was also known and the Bubble Gum Man and the Fix It Man.
