Edwin J. Plush, Jr. age 92 of White House passed away Friday morning August 14, 2026 at his home. He was born May 22, 1934 in Ridgetop, TN to Edwin J. Plush, Sr. & Dorothy Elizabeth Fryer Plush. He worked as a truck driver and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed watching action movies, sitting on his deck listening to music, all kinds of trucks, tending to his cats and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marie Plush; brother, Merle Plush. He is survived by his son, Johnny Plush; daughter, Kiki (Jamie) Boulanger, both of White House, TN; sister, Nina Carney, Whites Creek, TN; daughter-in-law, Nancy Rixie, White House, TN; granddaughter, Anna Plush. Funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, August 18, 2026 in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Bro. Jon Briggs officiating. Interment will follow in White House Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers and with military honors. Visitation is planned for Monday, August 17, 2026 4-8PM and Tuesday, August 18, 2026 9AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Friends and family are encouraged to wear casual attire with bright colors and floral patterns to the service and visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are encouraged to the Sumner County Humane Society.
