Dustin Kindler, aged 42, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026, at NMMC-Tupelo, MS. Born on October 19, 1983, in Corpus Christy, TX, Dustin was the beloved son of Don Kindler and Kathy Baldonado. A life scout, he graduated from Calallen High School in Texas and furthered his education at the North Mississippi Baptist Bible Institute.
Dustin proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a Seabee from 2002 to 2006, completing two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was medically retired as a 100% disabled combat veteran and spent time at the Naval Construction Battalion Center in Gulfport.
He is survived by his loving wife, Melinda Kindler, his daughter Kaylee Kindler, and his son Karson Kindler. Dustin was a cherished grandfather to Emery, Ella-Kay, Everlee, Eliana, Hollis, Brinley, and Blakeleigh. He is also survived by his mother, Kathy Baldonado, his father, Don Kindler, and his sisters, Jennifer Gunn and Heather Totoro (Matt), along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Kindler and his grandparents.
A funeral service will be held at 3PM on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Charity Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Kevin Merritt. Visitation will begin at 1PM and continue until the time of service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Josh Thompson, Jay Prewitt, Chris Wilburn, Joe Hamm, and John Michael Reifers.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Zack Simmons and J.C. Schanen.
