Wyvonia D Balstad  It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wyvonia D. Balstad, age 85.  She is survived by her two daughters and also four siblings: Louie Dollar, Sallie Cotton, Nathan Dollar and Nelson Dollar.

After graduating from high school, she went on to work as an administrate assistant in Alabama.  There she met her future husband – they fell in love and married.  She became a homemaker and she excelled in that role.  She was a talented cook, immaculate housekeeper, skillful seamstress and adept at household budgeting.  She also assisted her husband in the interior design of houses he built/remodeled to live in, rent or sell. Wyvonia had many versatile skills and was happy to apply those skills to care for her husband and two daughters.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 15 at 11 a.m. at Loretto Memorial Chapel with Matt Rosson officiating.  There will be visitation before the service starting at 10 a.m. and then after the service, finger foods/camaraderie in the social room below the chapel.

The family would like to thank the staff of Arden Hospice for the home visits and care that they provided during her final year of life.
