Rubye Seaton was born on January 20, 1934 in Savannah, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Charley and Elzie Reynolds Whitlow.
On November 2, 1952, she was united in marriage to Max Seaton, who preceded his wife in death on September 5, 2006.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Seaton worked for Wal-Mart. Her hobbies included photography, scrapbooking, and working on her photo albums. She also loved to travel. She and her husband, Max, spent a night in 48 of the 50 United States. Rubye was a member of Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cumberland Presbyterian Woman. She was a loving wife and mother and will be dearly missed by her family.
Rubye Seaton departed this life on August 7, 2026 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 92 years, 6 months, and 18 days.
She is survived by her sons, Dennis Seaton (Becky), Randy Seaton (Sherry), Nicky Seaton (Lois Ann), and Greg Seaton (Rhonda); grandchildren, Ben Seaton (Becca), Charlie Seaton (Hannah), Mallory Fowler (Joseph), Alex Seaton (Jessica), Whit Seaton (Ashley), Kali Barker (Cody), Allie Millender (John), and Carly Whitwell (Avery); and great grandchildren, Theo Seaton, Rowan Seaton, Robert Seaton, Natalie Seaton, Hattie Seaton, Elzie Seaton, Max Seaton, Annie Seaton, Ragan Fowler, Beckett Fowler, Lanie Barker, AnnaBeth Barker, and Charleigh Millender.
In addition to her husband and parents, Rubye was preceded in death by her sisters, Mable Cagle and Ollie Cagle and brother, Wheeler Whitlow.
