Johnny Allen Mellton II, 34, of Oxford, MS passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026 at Baptist Memorial Oxford surrounded by his family.

Born on December 11, 1991, in Grenada, MS to Johnny and Lisa Melton. He lived a life marked by quiet resilience, a fierce spirit, and a remarkable capacity for joy. Though he navigated life with mental and physical developmental challenges, Johnny Allen was never defined by a diagnosis. Instead, he was defined by a love for simple pleasures and unconditional love.

Johnny Allen found great happiness in Barney and Friends, music, feeling the warmth of the sun, his cooking classes, traveling, and his family. He communicated volumes often with just a smile.
