Two Arrested Following Child Sexual Abuse Investigation In Madison County

MADISON COUNTY – On Friday, August 7, 2026, Madison County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a “see subject, get information” call regarding allegations of sodomy involving a child and the production, possession, and dissemination of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Sheriff’s deputies met with the complainant and reviewed the material provided. After confirming the material contained CSAM, an on-call Criminal Investigations Division (CID) detective was contacted and responded to the scene. Detectives immediately began working to preserve and recover digital and electronic evidence, including preparing preservation requests, subpoenas, and search warrants. During the investigation, two suspects were identified as Chelsea Marie Elmore and Antony Eugene Ebey. Both were transported to the Criminal Investigations Division for questioning.
While interviews were being conducted, detectives obtained and executed a search warrant at a residence in the Meridianville community. Following the interviews, both suspects were arrested.
Chelsea Marie Elmore has been charged with:
▶︎ Sodomy, First Degree (Victim Less Than 12 Years of Age) – No Bond
▶︎ Sexual Abuse, First Degree – $10,000 Bond
▶︎ Possession of Child Pornography – $25,000 Bond
▶︎ Dissemination of Child Pornography – $25,000 Bond
▶︎ Production of Child Pornography Involving a Minor – No Bond
Antony Eugene Ebey has been charged with:
▶︎ Sodomy, First Degree (Victim Less Than 12 Years of Age) – No Bond
▶︎ Sexual Abuse, First Degree – $10,000 Bond
Both suspects were booked into the Madison County Jail. The no-bond charges are being held pursuant to Aniah’s Law. Sheriff Kevin Turner praised the quick response and work of the deputies and detectives involved in the case.
“When a child is the victim, we take it personally. Our deputies and detectives worked quickly from the moment this complaint came in to identify those involved and secure the evidence. There is absolutely no place in our community for anyone who sexually abuses or exploits a child.
