MONTGOMERY – Governor Kay Ivey on Friday released a video message welcoming Alabama students back to school and encouraging them to embrace the opportunities a new academic year brings.
In her message, Governor Ivey also expressed her gratitude for Alabama’s teachers, school leaders and parents, thanking them for the important role they play in preparing the next generation for success.
“As students return to classrooms across our state, I want them to know they have my full support,” said Governor Ivey in her message. “I will be keeping our students, teachers and parents in my prayers, and I look forward to seeing all they accomplish this school year.”
