Mrs. Peggy Lee Dickson Mrs. Peggy Lee Dickson, age 76, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026, in Jackson.
She was born on August 21, 1949, in Selmer, Tennessee, to the late Roy Chester Brown and Georgie Anderson Brown. Peggy was a dedicated employee who worked for twenty years as an assembly line worker at Salant/Salant and another twenty years at Johnson Controls before her retirement.
A faithful member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Peggy was a strong-willed, family-oriented homemaker who devoted her life to those she loved. She enjoyed listening to old Rock & Roll music and cherished every moment spent with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dickson; and three brothers, Junior Brown, Larry Brown, and Donnie Brown.
She is survived by her three sons, Mark Dickson and wife, Debra, Bruce Dickson and wife, Susan, and Steven Dickson; four brothers, Lester Brown and wife, Peggy, Clyde Brown and wife, Daphne, James Brown and wife, Donna, and Chester Brown and wife, Theresa; one sister, Alice Trass and husband, Joe; and five grandchildren, Jennifer Morris and husband, Johnny, Samantha Dickson, Michelle Martin and husband, Jonathan, Christopher Dickson, and Katie Wimberley and husband, Logan.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2026, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Nebo Methodist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the service time at 2:00 p.m. at Pafford Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dickson will be remembered for her strength, her love of family, and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her.
