Funeral service for Barbara Gail (Kidd) Warren, age 74, of Trinity, will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Milwee officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.
Barbara passed away on June 24, 2026. She was born September 12, 1951, in Hatton, Alabama, to Flur and Helen Coan Kidd. She spent her life caring for others through her family, her faith, and her career.
She was a Registered Nurse for 35 years, proudly served in the Army Reserves, and was a faithful member of Mount View Baptist Church.
Barbara is survived by her children, Sonia Hargrove (Billy), Bart Morrow (Sandra), and Baronica Preston (Joel); her grandchildren, Gabbie Hargrove Eller (Raven), Gracie Davis (Skylar), Katie Morrow, Haylee Morrow, Reagan Warren, Madison Warren, Lindsey Preston, and Destiny Suggs; great-grandchildren, Blakely Davis, Kamryn Davis, Hudson Davis, and Keelan Miller; her sister-in-law, Debbie Kidd; her best friend, Jennifer Wilhoite; and her loyal companion of 15 years, Josie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Flur and Helen Coan Kidd; her brother, Dale Kidd; her son-in-law, Joey Hargrove; and her grandson, Gavin Hargrove.
Barbara’s work ethic was second to none. She dedicated more than 35 years to nursing and took great pride in caring for her patients with skill, compassion, and unwavering dedication.
Pallbearers will be Donald Kidd, Travis Temple, Jeremy Kidd, Jason Kidd, Billy Suggs, and Joel Preston.
