Elianah passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at home in her mother and father’s arms surrounded by her family. From the moment baby Eliana entered into the world she made it evident that she was both a lover and a fighter. From her life‘s first struggling days her heart shown forth through her resilient spirit. Even in the midst of the uncertainty and the medical storm It seemed as if any word of negativity, she would actively work to prove wrong, making tiny steps, ever moving forward.
To look up upon her tiny frame and labored breathing was, to say the least, stress inducing, but to look into her bright and beautiful eyes would instantly flood one’s heart with a sense of wonder, pure love and joy as well as to steal one’s heart by means of pure innocence.
In the short months, following her birth, we began to learn about her, watching her sweet little personality develop. Long stretches, great yawns turning into precious little lip smacks; soft, baby coos and fragile little cries; beautiful smiles, and unhappy grimaces; deep, bright, soulful eyes and even snarky looks of disapproval all came together in one beautiful symphony to make her, “Elianah Avigail Henderson”.
Through every ascent and every descent she showed her admirable strength, truly characteristic of a daughter of the Most High, and bonded our hearts eternally to her own. When her time time to depart this world came, the tears flowed and our hearts shattered. Though the hollowness of her absence is torment, the departure is not the end of the story. There is so much more and, thankfully, the best is still yet to come. We will see you again, baby girl, in the Kingdom to come, when Yeshua the Messiah will bring us all home to each others arms.
Baruch da-yan ha emet, blessed be the True Judge. May Elianah Avigail’s sweet memory be a wonderful blessing forever.
