Logo Icon Linda Lou Fisher, 84, of Dekalb County, Tennessee and passed away on Tuesday June 23rd, 2026. Linda was born in St. Joesph, Missouri on September 29, 1941, to her father Raymond Chester Fisher and mother Virginia May Fisher. She had two sisters, Beverly and Shirley, and a brother Gary. Throughout her life she lived in Kansas, grew up in Colorado, traveled to Florida, and then finally found herself in Tennessee. Linda was strong-willed, independent, and lived a life marked by resilience, faith, and unwavering love. Though she could be stubborn, those who knew her best understood that behind that strength was a woman with a generous heart who would do anything for her family. She spent her life caring for others, offering guidance, encouragement, and support through both life’s joy and its hardships. Her family always knew they could count on her, and her love was a constant source of comfort and strength. She will be remembered by her wisdom, and as a steady presence throughout her life. Linda’s family finds comfort in remembering her strength and her determination. Though their hearts are broken by her loss, they are grateful for the years they were blessed to share with her and for the legacy she leaves behind. She is survived by her sister, Beverly; her daughter, Cassandra; her granddaughters, Meggan and Maggie, and her great-grandchildren Trevor, Aurorah, and Maddilynn. She is proceeded in death by her brother, Gary, and her sister, Shirley. While words cannot fully express how much she will be missed, her family takes comfort in knowing that love never truly leaves us. Linda’s memory will live on in the stories we tell and the lessons she taught us. Linda will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. The family has chosen a direct cremation and no services are planned.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Fisher family.
