  Franklin Fulton McAllister Profile PhotoFranklin Fulton McAllister, 42, beloved son, brother and father passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee. Fulton was born on January 5, 1984, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was the son of the late Dawson James McAllister and Ruth Hill Fulton McAllister.

Fulton grew up in Maury County and attended school at Zion Christian Academy where he played on the soccer team. Afterwards, he attended Bryan College in Dayton Tennessee. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbia. As a young man, he was very involved in the hospitality industry.

From the time he was a small child, Fulton loved people, meeting them and getting to know them. He loved entertaining people with jokes. Even after he suffered brain trauma in an accident, he enjoyed interacting with people in the medical field. He had many friends. The family will always be grateful for the loving friendship he had with so many of these people.

Fulton was preceded in death by his beloved father Dawson McAllister, his paternal grandparents Dr. Eugene B. McAllister and Ruth C. McAllister, his maternal grandparents Franklin and Ruth Fulton, and his beloved Aunt Lou Banks Fulton. He is survived by his devoted daughter Addison Claire McAllister, his mother Ruth Hill Fulton McAllister, his brother Gene McAllister and his wife Lauren McAllister, his aunt Dixie Fulton Williamson, and her husband George Williamson, his first cousin Emily Williamson, his aunt and uncle Anne and Steve Miller of Atlanta, and two first cousins Chris and Matt Miller, and his aunt Dianne McAllister of Atlanta.

Visitation will be at Williams Funeral Home on Saturday, June 27 at 12 PM, and the celebration of life will immediately follow at 1 PM. Burial will be at Zion Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wesley Hendrickson, Randy Auiler, Nathan Cass, George Williamson, Gene McAllister, Darold Hatcher, Joe Anderson, and Stephen McCollum.

Honorary pallbearers are Mrs. Joann Dickey, Mrs. Kate Couch, Summar McConnell. Lisa Laster Mills, Adam Smith, Kayla Gray, Kayla Kirby, Holly Brawner, Leslie Hatcher, Ali Frierson, Doctors Charles Ball, Cummins Couch, Justin Kropf, Thomas Quinn, Phillip Haynes, and Steven Smith, along with numerous nurses, techs, and workers who aided in Fulton’s care at NHC Columbia, NHC Hillview, NHC Oakwood, Maury Regional Medical Center and Caris Healthcare.
