Victor Serafin Nava, age 53, of Russellville passed away Sunday June 7, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 6, 1973 to Jorge and Clara Serafin in Mexico. Victor served in the youth group at Good Shepherd Catholic Church Parish in Russellville. He was a beloved referee at soccer for the Church Festival and always loved sports. Victor enjoyed spending the rest of his time traveling around looking at yard sales and going to sales at the markets. Visitation will be Friday June 19, 2026, from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Russellville, Alabama. An additional gathering will be on Saturday June 20, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Victor is survived by his children, Grace Serafin and Victor Serafin; mother, Clara Nava Serafin; siblings, Demetrio Serafin, Anastacio Serafin, Catalino Serafin, Apolinar Serafin, Estela Serafin, Jorge Serafin, and Yuridia Serafin; thirty nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Jorge Serafin Trinidad, maternal grandfather, Delfino Nava; maternal grandfather, Manuela Abarca; paternal grandfather, Martin Serafin; paternal grandfather, Maria Trinidad; and aunts, Basilisa Nava, Apolinar Nava, and Macrina Nava.
