Betty Lou King McNeece Profile Photo Betty Lou King McNeece, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 2:00pm, in the chapel at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Mark King officiating. The family will visit with friends on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 11:00 until 2:00 at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Burial will be at Bailey Cemetery in the Mt. Joy Community following the service.

Born in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Clifford King, Sr. and Nora Marshall King. She was the wife of the late Bruce Ray McNeece.

Mrs. McNeece was a member of the Mt. Joy Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she was also a member of the CPW.

After the death of her husband, Betty worked as a secretary and clerk at different times, but her primary concern was being a homemaker, mother, and grandmother.

Mrs. McNeece is survived by one son Bradly King (Kelly) McNeece of Mt. Pleasant, TN. Her daughter-in-law, Shaun Mobley McNeece of Summertown, TN, four granddaughters, Meagan Marie McNeece (Robby Bolton) of Summertown, TN., Madeline Brynn (Ben) Edwards of Erwin, TN., Hannah Ranee McNeece (fiancé, Davis O’Conner Duffy) of Mt. Pleasant, TN., and Reagan Nichole McNeece of Florence, AL. One great granddaughter, Sadie Grace Edwards of Erwin, TN., brothers Herman Farris King and Clifford King, Jr. Sisters Carolyn King Mathis and Alisa (Bubba) Edwards, all of Mt. Pleasant. Sisters-in-law Jean McNeece Westmoreland of Culleoka, TN., and Shirley Ford McNeece of Mt. Pleasant, TN., one brother-in-law, Jerry McNeece of Mt. Pleasant, TN., many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Ray McNeece and one son Brian Keith McNeece.

Pall bearers include Seth Brown, Stephen Brown, Jimmy Dodson, Brett Dodson, Chuck Dodson, Matthew Burns, Ben Burns and Nathan Burns.

Honorary pall bearers will be members of the Mt. Joy Presbyterian Church .
