Nella Fran Pace  Nella Fran Pace, age 88, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and devotion that will continue to live on through the family she cherished so deeply.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 9, 2026 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Darryl Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow in East Franklin Cemetery in Phil Campbell.

A devoted homemaker, Nella found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved. She took pride in creating a warm and welcoming home, spending time on the family farm, and keeping her grandchildren. Some of her family’s most treasured memories were made around her table, where Sunday meals brought everyone together. Her famous dressing and homemade pies became beloved family traditions and a reflection of the love she poured into every gathering.

A member of Pleasant Hill Church, Nella’s unwavering faith guided her throughout her life providing a steady example for her family and all who knew her.

Nella was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Allen Hugh Pace; and her parents, Malcolm and Orean Porter, and baby brother L.C. Porter.

She is survived by her daughter, Laresia Jackson; her son, Tim (Beverly) Pace; her grandchildren, Timberly (Brian) Jones, Tara (Cameron) White, Brooke (Jon) Sherron, Misty (Jeff) Byrd, and Chad (Laura) Porter; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Grant, Andi, and Izzy Jones; Pacey, Finley, and Hattie White; Blake and Jack Sherron; J. P. and Maddie Byrd; and Bella and Logan Porter.

Nella’s life was defined not by grand accomplishments, but by the countless everyday acts of love that shaped her family. Whether tending the farm, preparing a meal, or simply being present, she made those around her feel cared for and valued. The traditions she established, and the love she shared will remain a lasting gift to those who knew her.

Though her family grieves her absence, they find comfort in celebrating a life well lived and in the assurance of her eternal home in Heaven. Her legacy of faith, family, and love will continue for generations to come.
