With hearts full of gratitude and sorrow, we announce the passing of Donald (Don) Ray Lee on May 30, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Don was born on May 16, 1943, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. He attended Loretto High School where he met the love of his life, Linda Williams Lee with whom they shared four children. He retired from Murray Ohio Manufacturing Company where he was a mastermind at solving complex problems in the experimental department.
He was a dedicated member of the Leoma Church of Christ. While no stranger to adversity, he met hard times with gentleness and faith in God’s ever-present help. Don was kind, generous, and eager to share his love of Jesus and his garden harvest with anyone he met. He took great pride in his family – especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a blessing to all who knew him and sowed a legacy of love which will last for generations.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Linda Lee; his children, Tim Lee (Ruth), Terry Lee (Glenda), Donna Evans (Jim), and Nathan Lee (Stacie); sisters, Charlene Story (Jimmy), IvaNell Murdock (Larry); grandchildren, Kristina Lee, Susan Silverman (Max), David Lee (Hannah), Jennifer Lee, Jonathan White (Daisy), Mary Mattison Caldwell (Davis), Natalie Mobbs (David), Miles Evans (Grace), Michael Lee, and Lillianna Lee; great grandchildren, Tray Bentley, Tanisha Hibbard (Matthew), Daisha Lee, Zaiden Mitchell, Toby Mitchell, Brody Mitchell, Amberlin Mitchell, Rosalie Silverman, Maeve Silverman, Liza Caldwell, Annie Caldwell and Elicia Mobbs.
Preceded in death by parents, Forrest and Mattie Lou Lee; brother, Orville Lee; and sister, Brenda Gobble. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 4 at 10:00 AM and services following at 1:00 PM at the Leoma Church of Christ. Burial will be in Restview Cemetery.
