Ben Crawford Clifton, age 97, passed away on May 27, 2026, at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home.
He was a faithful member of Woodward Avenue Baptist until his health would no longer allow.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Clifton, son, Bruce Clifton, and parents, Ben Crawford Clifton, Sr. and Louise Sherman Clifton.
He is survived by his daughter, Beth Clifton McKinney (Florence, AL and niece, Becky Gay (Helena, AL).
There are no funeral arrangements at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to a favorite charity in his name.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home for their love and care.
