Funeral services for Christine Montgomery Birdwell were Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Jim Bryant officiating.
Burial was in Montgomery Cemetery.
Mrs. Birdwell died Monday, Nov. 19. She was born on Aug. 4, 1929, in Lawrence County, to Joseph and Eula Cameron Pierce. She retired from Monsanto Cafeteria. Mrs. Birdwell was a member of Aldridge Grove Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Collins Montgomery.
Survivors include three sons, Jimmy Montgomery, Joey Montgomery, and John Montgomery (Stefanie), all of Moulton; two daughters, Carolyn Parker (Vernon), of Town Creek and Margaret Gaddis of Moulton; one brother, Darrel Pierce of Town Creek; one sister, Anna Berryman of Town Creek; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Beau Gaddis, Jon Bret Smith, Tyler Corum, Michael Corum, Collins Montgomery, and Michael Hackney.
