Betty Sue Davis, 79 of Arab, died Tuesday August 1, 2017 at Limestone Health Facility in Athens.
Mrs. Davis was born October 24, 1937 in Marshall County to Arthur Terrell and Annie Cooley Terrell. She owned and operated Union Grove Grocery until her retirement. Her husband Arlon Eugene Davis preceded her in death May 10, 2010. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards and working at her store.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Tony and Dolores Davis and Keith and Tammy Davis; her daughter: Becky L. Dobosz; her grandchildren: Amanda Brown and Jim, Jessica Clanton and Daniel, Joshua Dobosz and Kayla, Jennifer Camp and Kevin, Kristi Cobb and Dustin, Adam Davis and Baylee Cornelius, Rocky Carroll and Mandy Laney, Rusty Carroll and Kaitlen, Josh McKearin and Tori McKearin, Brian Harbin and Irene McKearin; great grandchildren: Ally Clanton, Madlyn Cobb, Anna Camp, Brantley McKinney, Bradleigh Davis, Wrangler Carroll, Emalynn Clanton, Blakely Dobosz, Jansen Cobb, Layla Brown, Caroline Brown, Josiah McKearin, Colton McKearin and Wyatt Carroll and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Arlon E. Davis; her parents: Arthur and Annie Terrell; her brothers: James Terrell, John Terrell and Fred Terrell and her sisters: Juanne Henry and Opal Henry.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 5, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother: Steve Kirkland, officiating. Burial will be in Brookwood Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Josh Dobosz, Adam Davis, Daniel Clanton, Jim Brown, Kevin Camp, Dustin Cobb and Rocky Carroll.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday August 4, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
