Memorial services for Wayne Loyd Shankle, 72, of Trinity will be Tuesday the 20th at 6 p.m. at Caddo Congregational Christian Church with Michael Cassidy officiating. Family will receive friends 4 to 6 p.m. preceding the service.
Mr. Shankle died Thursday, March 15 2018 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born January 14 1946 to Luther Elbert Shankle and Mary Gertrude Bond Shankle. Mr. Shankle was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers Harold Shankle, Gene Shankle and Rayburn Shankle and his one sister, Nell Shankle Rose.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Terri Smith Shankle; son, Steven Shankle; daughters, Angie Terry (Jeff) and Jenifer Blake (Shane); grandchildren, Morgan Terry, Levi Terry, Coleman Blake and Isaac Blake. He is also survived by his twin brother, Floyd Shankle and his sisters, Opal Voss, Hazel Basden, Audrey Cartee Terry, Kay Trussell, Gail Terry and Marie Letson. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
