Waterloo Woman Dies In Single-Vehicle Accident Near Florence

FLORENCE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident that occurred in Lauderdale County near Florence that has taken the life of one person:

 “A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 7:50 a.m. Sunday, May 5, has claimed the life of a Waterloo woman.

Madison G. Taylor, 25, was fatally injured when the 2007 Ford Focus she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree before overturning. Taylor was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was partially ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Lauderdale 7 near Lauderdale 139, approximately six miles north of Florence, in Lauderdale County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
