Warrena Willis Broadhead, 88, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday. Mrs. Broadhead was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Frank and Delene Willis, husband, Harold Broadhead, and grandson, John Belk.
Warrena received a degree in Elementary Education at Alabama College, and she had a teaching career that lasted 36 years. She was involved in the Pilot Club, Rose Society, and Our Place. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she taught children’s music and GAs and was a member of the Hallelujah Choir.
Survivors include her children, Hal Broadhead and wife, Jean, and Carol B. Belk and husband, Dan; grandchildren, Jono Broadhead and wife, Megan, Nick Broadhead and wife, Sydney, Ben Broadhead and Tyler Belk; and great-grandchildren, Micah Broadhead and Reagan Broadhead.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 29th at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Seanor officiating.
