Virginia E. "Gean" Davis Profile PhotoVirginia E. “Gean” Davis, 92, of Iuka, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and formerly worked at the Iuka Shirt Factory. Gean spent much of her life supporting her husband’s ministry and caring for her family. She loved fishing, cooking, growing roses, and gardening.

She is survived by her sons, Tommy Davis (Sheila) and Kenneth Lee Wilbanks; her daughter, Debra Young (Charlie); three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bro. Thomas E. “T. E.” Davis; her three sisters, Jewel Graham, Thelma Belcher, and Idell Lambert; and her half-sister, Ruby.

Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka is entrusted with arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, at Cutshall Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Bro. Sheldon Lambert. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Lee Wilbanks, Charlie Young, Bucky Young, Steve Belk, John Henley, and Phillip Bonds.
