Glennis Posey, age 90, of Double Springs passed away Saturday August 8, 2026, at Hendrix Health Care. She was born July 19, 1936 to Loyd and Iva Bailey. Visitation will be Tuesday August 11, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Double Springs Church of Christ. She will Lie in State from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 12 at the Double Springs Church of Christ where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Justin Guin and Vance Hutton will officiate. Burial will be at Double Springs Memorial Gardens. Glennis is survived by her son, Don (Teresa) Posey; granddaughter, Meg (Dean) Glass; grandson, Elijah (Lauren) Posey; great grandchildren, Juliet Posey, Calvin Posey, and Bennett Glass; sister, Jeraldine Handy; brother, Dwight Bailey; bonus grandchild, Samuel Kelly; and a host of nieces and nephews.
