Vera C. Brown, 91, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Sunshine Health Care in Pontotoc, MS. She was born on December 25, 1932, in Lawtey, FL, to Henry E. Futch and Cloardiues K. Welch and was wed to Charles D. Brown on July 3, 1950.
She is survived by her husband, Charles D. Brown; her son, Charles “Bo” Brown (Donna); her sister, Vanessa Kowach; five grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, her grandson Ben, her granddaughter Carly, and her son Terry.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc, with Bro. Dean Moody presiding. Visitation will start at 10 AM and continue until the time of service. Burial will take place at Lafayette Springs (Laodicea) Cemetery.
