Ulyless Edward Partin, age 95, went to be with the Lord on May 29th 2026. He was born on March 20th, 1931, in Decherd, Tennessee to John Williard and Tressie Arlene (Hill) Partin. He graduated from South H.S. Akron, Ohio on January 28th, 1950.
Ulyless lived in Akron, Ohio most of his life and worked for Babcock & Wilcox for 42 years. After retiring, he and his wife Joella returned to Manchester, Tennessee. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.
Ulyless enjoyed gardening and canning. He was a humble, kind man who loved his wife and daughters dearly.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Joella and brothers Erskine Partin and James Lloyd Partin.
Ulyless is survived by daughters Joyce (Tom) Lewis and Carol (Mike) Key; grandchildren Phillip (Akili) Lewis, Kara (Danny) Key, Kasey (Dustin) Key and great grandchildren Elijah Tarter, Ezra Tarter, Eva Moreno, Emmett Herrick, Shawn Lewis, Remington Lewis, Ryker Lewis and RayLynne Lewis; brother David Allen (Darlene) Partin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 2:00pm from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Terrell Bunting officiating.
