Timothy Dean Hadder, 71, of Athens, passed away on Sunday, May 31st, 2026, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. He was born August 2nd, 1954, in Muncie, Indiana, to James and Jewel (Cole) Hadder.
Tim leaves behind his wife, Becky Hadder; sisters, Sandra Pendergrass and Rhonda (James) Glenn; brother, James (Dale), and wife Karen Hadder; four stepchildren, Chris Ball, Maria (Josh) Davis, Johnathan (Leslie) Ball, and Jason (Anna) Ball; seven grandchildren, Faith Ball, Olivia Ball, Landon Ball, Carson Ball, Connor Ball, Benson Ball, and Hudson Ball; and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and great-great-nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Jewel (Cole) Hadder.
The memorial service for Mr. Hadder will be Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home; from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., with Jeremy Glenn officiating. Visitation is Wednesday, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Tim wanted to be buried in overalls and a patriotic shirt. If you come to the service, Tim wanted blue jeans and a patriotic tee shirt.
Mr. Hadder was a 100% proud American. He served in the Army National Guard. He worked at 3M in Decatur for forty years. He hunted, fished, and liked to garden.
