LAUDERDALE COUNTY-The Lauderdale County Drug Task Force issued a press release concerning two drug busts that happened in the last week of June:
“On 06/21/2022 Agents with the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force received information that Bradley Lenard Burt was selling Heroin from a hotel off of Florence Blvd. Agents obtained enough information to obtain a search warrant for Burt’s hotel room. Agents monitored Burt and observed him leave the hotel. Burt was stopped in Colbert County by Colbert County Drug Task Force Agents and was arrested for outstanding warrants. Burt had a small bag of Heroin

when he was arrested. A search of his hotel room revealed approximately 20 grams of Heroin, Methamphetamine (ICE), drug paraphernalia.

Assisting Lauderdale County Drug Task Force in this case was Colbert County Drug Task Force, Florence Police Department and Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department.”
“On 06/30/2022 Agents with the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on N Fulton St in Florence. Entry was made into the residence by the Florence/Lauderdale County Special Operations Team.
During a search of the residence, over 1000 Fentanyl Pills
were located along with approx. 30 grams of cocaine, scales, plastic bags and multiple long assault type rifles.
Those arrested and charges are as follows:

Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance o Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd

Jeffrey Lee Horrison Age 31 Florence, AL
