DECATUR– The Alabama Soccer Association (ASA) is proud to present a thrilling weekend of youth soccer as the 2025 Alabama State Cup and Futures Cup return to Decatur from Friday, May 2 through Sunday, May 4, at the renowned Jack Allen Soccer Complex, located at 2616 Modaus Rd SW.
Held in conjunction, the Spring State Cup and the Futures Cup will bring together hundreds of athletes and teams from across Alabama for a weekend of high-energy competition, sportsmanship, and fun.
The Alabama State Cup is ASA’s premier championship event, bringing together the top competitive boys’ and girls’ teams in the U13 through U19 age groups. Sanctioned and conducted annually by ASA, this tournament is a crucial qualifying event for teams aiming to advance to the US Youth Soccer (USYS) Regional and National Championships (NCS) or the USYS President’s Cup (PC). Teams earn their spots based on league performance and ASA seeding criteria, with final rounds of play taking place during this championship weekend.
Running alongside the State Cup is the Futures Cup, designed as an extension of the State Cup and offering a more inclusive and celebratory experience for U7-U19 teams of all affiliations. The Futures Cup provides a fun, end-of-season tournament that encourages development, camaraderie, and a love for the game across all skill levels.

With over 600 participants expected, the combined event promises a weekend full of competitive matches, passionate fans, and unforgettable moments for players and families alike.
