Storyteller Tim Lowry, will perform Charles Dickens’ ‘Christmas Carol”

at the Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts Southall-Moore House

FLORENCE-The Shoals Storytelling Festival and Florence Arts & Museums are pleased to present Tim Lowry’s Performance of Charles Dickens’ Christmas Carol on December 15th from 7:00-8:30pm at the Southall-Moore House, the grey Victorian situated next door to the Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts, 209 E. Tuscaloosa St. in Florence, AL.

 

From ghosts and geezers to hope for all of humanity, Charles Dickens’ Christmas Carol is the most told holiday story ever.  Storyteller, Tim Lowry brings the classic tale to life with his entertaining interjections and insight on thirteen recurring themes throughout the story.

Tim Lowry has been delighting people with this story for many years and we hope you will join us! This event is free and open to the public.

 

At his performance, Tim will have his new book Haunted by Dickens for sale for $12.99.

50% of the proceeds will be donated to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
