Stella Bernice Phillips, age 87, of Carbon Hill, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Beech Grove Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Beech Grove Freewill Baptist Church, with burial at Phillips Cemetery. Johnny Cooner will officiate.
Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her Husband-Hershel Phillips; Son-Richard Phillips; Mother-Mary Elizabeth Frost; Father-Hobson Hollis.
She is survived by her Daughter-in-law-Patricia Phillips; Sons-Roy Phillips (Linda) and David Phillips; Sister-Wynell Rutledge; Brother-Wyman Frost (Betty); Special Family Friend-Shirley Ingram; Grandchildren-Shane Phillips, Kristee Phillips McDonald, Misty Phillips Martinez, Jennifer Phillips Dover, Stephanie Phillips and Stephen Phillips; Great Grandchildren-Gabrielle Martinez, Brandon Dover, Braden Dover, Ethan Phillips, Eli Phillips, Raegan Rogers and Ethan Cummings.
