Sloria Marie Tucker, 55, of Sheffield, passed away April 28, 2018. Her visitation is Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from noon until 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Bennie Terry officiating. Burial will follow in Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery.
Sloria was a native of Colbert County. She was a paper carrier with the Times Daily for 21 years and was a member of Muscle Shoals Baptist Church. Sloria was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Terry Sr.; paternal grandparents, Edna and John Terry; and maternal grandparents, Willa Dean and Gilbert Eddie.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Roy G. Tucker; mother, Edith Marie Eddie Olson (Larry); sons, Brandon Tucker, Jeff Tucker (Lynn), Roy Lynn Tucker (Stacy), and Richard Tucker; daughters, Melissa Tucker, and Heather Shaffer (Joseph); brother, Jimmy Terry (Connie); sister, Sodonia Barnes (Shelby); 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
