MUSCLE SHOALS – Kelly Robinson, President of Service 1 Transport considers each and every member of the Company life a family member. And so, when somebody like Willie Phillips, who has been on the road for 43 years decides to retire, she puts together a real shindig to show the Company’s love and respect.
Phillips, who has logged over 4-million miles in his career decided that it was time to spend some more time with his family, do some traveling on his own time, and just enjoy the good life.
Here is what Kelly has to say about Willie, “He has driven more than 4 million miles over the course of his career. Willie always presented himself with dignity and respect with everyone to whom he came in contact. Taking pride in everything he did, Willie’s was always spotless. He made a great impression for our Company as he went into each of our customer’s facilities. He made a lasting impression on what it means to make a great career as an over the road truck driver and set a great example to all individuals that are looking to make trucking their career. Willie is 70 years old and decided that it was time to retire. He will be greatly missed at Service One but we are very blessed to be able to call him our friend.”
Bon voyage, Willie Phillips!
