Ruie Lee Harville was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 18, 1921, the daughter of the late Tom and Rhoda Amy Brown. On October 30, 1942, she was united in marriage to Jimmie William Harville, who preceded her in death on October 20, 2005. Mrs. Harville departed this life on March 15, 2018, at the age of 96 years, 10 months, and 25 days.
Before living in Olive Hill, Tennessee, Mrs. Harville lived in Apopka, Florida for approximately 41 years. There, she worked in citrus packing houses. Mrs. Harville loved needlework, gardening, reading romance novels, quilting, and canning food.
Mrs. Harville is survived by her daughter, Deborah Alan Drake of Paisley, Florida; son, Ricky Lee Harville of Olive Hill, Tennessee; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Harville was preceded in death by her sons, Bobby Harville, Billy Harville, and Darrell Harville; brothers, Floyd Brown, L.V. Brown, Randall Brown, Hardin Brown, and James Brown; sisters, Mollie Stricklin, Ruby Stricklin, and Ruth Michaels; and grandchildren, Keith Harville and Annette Haden.
