Funeral service for Ruby Veneer Johnson, 78, will be Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thomas Elder and Rev. Bill Persons officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Johnson died on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born July 14, 1934, in Cullman County to John Brasher Sheats and Alberta Johnson Sheats.
Survivors include : her Husband, Joseph C. “Buddy” Johnson, Hartselle, AL
One Son: Joe Johnson, (Carolyn), Hartselle, AL
One Daughter: Tammy Johnson Parker, (Randi), Hartselle, AL
Four Grandchildren: Joseph Johnson, Brandi Kirkpatrick, Erica Parker, and Kristina Parker
Two Great Grandchildren: Jayten Terry and Jared Kirkpatrick
Pallbearers will be Jayten Terry, Shane Griffith, Jason Kirkpatrick, Matthew Garwood, Josh Elkins, and Ricky Pope.
