Scott was a true “people person” and this helped him during his career as a Salesman. He continued trying to better himself throughout his life, returning to college to finish his degree at the age of 43. He never met a stranger, and once you met Scott, you had a lifelong friend. Always generous, he would give his last dollar to help anyone in need. Bur, if you needed help with anything, he always came through. His sobriety was extremely important to him. After getting sober and attending many AA meetings he realized he had discovered a second family. He thought the world of all the people at AA. He always tried to help anyone who was trying to get sober. He would tell anyone that needed to hear it that sobriety and the people at AA helped save his life. (So if you ever need help to quit drinking or using, he would want you to know the people at AA are just waiting to help!) Scott adored his family and friends and spent most of his time around them. He loved his kids and enjoyed building new relationships with them after he reached sobriety. Recently, he began a new role as the extremely proud “Poppa” of his baby granddaughter, Freya Layne. To say that he was crazy about the baby would an understatement.
