Funeral service for Mr. Robert David Smith, age 69, of Fayetteville, will be conducted Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Pete Crim officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery. Mr. Smith passed away Friday at Huntsvillle Hospital.
Mr. Smith was a native of Lincoln County, the son of the late William Robert and Sarah Pauline Smith. He was a mechanic, a veteran of the National Guard and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife Cathy Smith, sons Wendell Smith, Kevin (Diane Thompson) Smith all of Fayetteville, nieces Rhonda Smith, Ginger Knowles, Lisa Smith and nephew Carlos Ray Smith.
Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
