Josephine Miller Howard – Obituary

Josephine Miller Howard, or “Maw” as those she loved called her, left this world on March 6, 2015, while being held in the arms of her granddaughters. Maw went home to be with her Lord and Savior and to join her beloved husband, Hance “June Bug”, in Heaven. She was a member of Chisholm Heights Baptist Church.

Visitation will be today, Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 1 – 2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home with a graveside service following in Greenview Memorial Park. Officiating will be Clay Richardson.

Maw was the last surviving child of Robert Henry and Velma Peden Miller. In addition to her parents, Maw was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Hance Howard, Jr.; great grandchildren, Eli Ingram and Baby Ingram; six brothers; four sisters.

Maw leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons, Larry Miller (Kim), Marvin Wisdom (Connie); grandchildren, Brandi Jackson (Donald), Jenna Ingram (Kevin), Chance Wisdom (Kayla), Spc. Chase Wisdom, Andrew Miller (Tiffany); great-grandchildren, Sha, Lexi, Malakye, Ayden, Serra, Ella, and Kynzee Jackson, Zoey and Brooklyn Ingram, and Aydin Wisdom.

Active pallbearers will be grandsons, Chance Wisdom, Chase Wisdom, Andrew Miller, Donald Jackson, Kevin Ingram, and nephew, Bobby Fish.

Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandsons, Malakye Jackson, Ayden Jackson, and Aydin Wisdom.

We love you Maw and praise God that you are home. We’ll see you in a little while.
