Rex G Reid, 88, of New Hope, passed away Wednesday.
Mr. Reid was well loved by his family and friends and served as a Shriner. He was a military veteran having served in the Korean War where he was twice a P.O.W. Mr. Reid retired as a real estate agent.
He was preceded in death by father, Virgil Reid; mother, Rexie May Reid; wife, Hermina Reid; son-in-law, Larry Stolz.
Surviving are wife, Jane Boozer-Reid; daughter, Andrea Stolz; 2 step-children, Eric Boozer and Rebecca Walks; 5 grandchildren, Christopher Wise, Harry Wise, Shannon Wheeler, Brandon Chang, and Chloe Robinson; great grandchildren, Claire and Lyla Wise; 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
A Graveside Service will be held at Valley View Cemetery in St. Mary’s, Kansas, Saturday September 26, 2020.
