Reese Tillman Colburn, age 20, peacefully met Jesus face-to-face on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025 at his home in Madison, Alabama. Reese, an ultimate warrior who battled a heart condition his entire life, never surrendered despite difficulties. He was a 2024 graduate of Fort Payne High School and attended Calhoun Community College. He recently received a coaching internship offer at Randolph High School. Strong in his faith in the Lord, Reese was a member of Fort Payne Family Worship Center. He never met a stranger and was the “life of the party” everywhere he went; his smile lit up a room and in his short 20 years, he lived life to the fullest and accomplished more than most people could ever imagine.
Funeral services will be 12 noon on Wednesday, April 23rd at Fort Payne Family Worship Center with Pastor Dillon Hilyer officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 until 8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Heart of a Warrior Memorial Fund, https://gofund.me/98228925
