Funeral service for Michael Gay, age 57, of Decatur, will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Gay, who died Saturday, April 19, 2025, at his residence, was born November 29, 1967, in Alabama to Jack Gay and Mary Cole Roberts Gay. He was preceded in death by his parents. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing pool. He loved his dog. Rebel.
He is survived by three sisters, Cathy “Cat” Peterson, Lisa “Bug” Curtis, and Sheila Thomas; and a host of extended family.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
