Rebecca Knowles Martin, 94, of Vestavia Hills passed away Monday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Reynolds Martin, brother, Knowlen F. Knowles, Sr., and sister, Mary Jane Knowles Gibson.
Mrs. Martin taught for Madison County and Huntsville City schools for 31 years. She was a member at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church, and a former member of First United Methodist Church, Huntsville.
Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly M. Headrick (Sidney); granddaughter, Natalie Rebecca Headrick; two nieces; and two nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, June 3 at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Coy Hallmark officiating.
