Priscilla Lee Weir Cowart left behind a legacy of many people whom she influenced by her vibrant zest for life. While working at the North Alabama Center for Educational Excellence, she influenced students and challenged them to reach their full potential in life. She taught them to have a passion for what they do. Don’t settle for average. Her students were her life. She set high standards, but time after time they would come through with trophies and accolades of their accomplishments. More recently she took the challenge of teaching Chinese students. She was studying Chinese in hopes of being able to travel to China one day and meeting her students. Her influence was global. And of course, her influence was felt close to home. She loved her niece and nephews as her own and would talk to them like her own. She always wanted them to excel in whatever task they were given. And they all loved “Teetee” as they lovingly called her. She was always the “fun” aunt. As grand-babies came, they were like her grandchildren. She had much love to give and if you were in her presence for more than 5 minutes, you could feel it. What an energetic, vibrant life. She will be greatly missed by all.She has left behind her loving mother and step-dad, Ursula and Eddie Brashier of Bridgeport, AL; her sister and brother-in-law, Patty and Steve Hall of Bridgeport, AL; nephews Willie McPherson and Steven (Tiffany) McPherson of Crown Point, IN; Rachel (Peter) Petropoulos of Bridgeport, AL; Sister-in-law Connie (Larry) Loudermilk of Scottsboro, AL and many cousins all over the globe. Priscilla was preceded in death by her sweetheart in 2004, Randy C Cowart; Father, George William Weir; Sister-in-law, Teresa Anne Gregory.
